your style is EXACTLY my cup of tea, heaped with cream & sugar!

i agree with the other comment about moving in and not changing a thing. honestly, i'm screaming for COLOR in most of the home tours and i can't bring myself to a lot of them because of the starkness. i think you've paired your hues beautifully. i have been hunting for a good yellow and that SW butternut is perfection. thank you for the inspiration!

also, i think the "craftiness" in your home feels down-to-earth, friendly, and YOUNG. you're obviously a hip, fun mom and if craftiness can be sophisticated, you have achieved it!

i love every single thing about the space, seriously :) great work!

thank god! i'm so tired of seeing boring spaces that reek of expensive fine home furnishings always taking the spotlight.

i hate asking, ''where the hell is your stuff?''

so thank you for proving that you don't have to sacrifice color, maturity, or your bank account to have an amazing space!

i really like the new spin! i might be partial to candy colored/spray painted treasures paired with mod fabrics...

(for what it's worth, i second that errors themselves are far less annoying, JSFKCK)

i like the clean lines and overall "smooth" feeling of the room. interesting to see a kid's room where color doesn't exactly dominate.

but can we have an update on how long it stays crispy, fresh & white with a little one living in it? i'd love to know!

agreed...
however, i must say that i still (and will probably always) enjoy the skittle colored garage sale junk. it just keeps things young! just a few pieces here and there though, because a little goes a log way.

there's always a problem, isn't there?
the good thing is, its theirs... not yours.

what a fun kids room! nice color, too. i have seen many purple rooms that give the color a bad reputation, but this is great.

jeez, how cute are those doughnuts?!

i love black & white against bold colors and this is a great execution of that. personally, i would have gone a touch warmer on the paint colors because of the floors (which are really neat!) ... but either way, a job well done.

ha! love the nailpolish.

i collect jones soda bottles and when empty, i fill them with water and add food coloring. i have a rainbow of them on my window sill and the colors are perfect against all the black and white photo labels.

the kitchen totally reminds me of the brady bunch -- in a good way!

i love when people are not afraid of orange. for some reason, it frightens most people. well done :)

i was very curious about the color myself - i'm preparing to revamp my kitchen in teal & red :D

since nobody has posted since july, i figured i'd go onto the sherwinn williams website and try to find the shade myself. in one picture it looks bluer, and the other a little greener. for anyone who's still checking on this post for it, i narrowed it down to four possiblities:

holiday turquoise -SW0075
aqueduct -SW6758
cooled blue -SW6759
mariner -SW6766

i'll definitely be choosing one of these for my kitch!
