I live in RI so I figured I would see if they had anything left around 5pm. They had some frames, vases, a few things left. I was hoping for a throw or ballet flats and naturally they were long gone. I did get my two year old daughter a really cute jacket, they had plenty of kid stuff. They still have a few things online, too, if you are patient. I was pretty tempted by the iPad cases, online only.

Another thing to make the other tips easie is to pare down and minimize.if you only have things you like in your home than you are less worried about others seeing them.

This is impressive! One of my favorite nurseries ever.

Carpeting ( I have bad allergies/asthma and am in the process of replacing carpets with floors, at mown expense, with landlord permission.)

High utilities for heating/cooling

On a busy street/ bad neighborhood, location is everything

Without outdoor space ( I have kids)

We decided when our first child was born to work with our long Italian last name (we are both Italian) by sticking with Italian or Latin sounding names. We named our son Luca Vincent in 2006 (Vincent is my dad), thinking Luca was very original, and it has become quite trendy :( our daughter is Angelina Emilia, after my husband Angelo Emilio, but she goes by Annie. Our third child is Benicio Joseph, who is called Ben. I too am a fan of cute nicknames with a more adult alternative. A lot of times it is hard to predict what will become popular, so you do your best; my mom tried to pick original names, she did pretty good with mine (Jenelle, long for Jenny) but she struck out with my sister, who was Brittany, number one name for the year she was born

Our kids don't always eat with us, we try as much as possible. That being said, they do sit at the big table and we sit with them while they eat and talk to them. Like previous posters mentioned, sometimes it's hard to get it on the table for all of us in time, so the kids just eat together on those days. breakfast and lunch are more casual, but dinner I think is important and is something we can commit to, at least to be with them at the big table while they eat. We had a little table briefly but honestly it was way more messy and the kids wanted to keep getting up and running around while they ate, which is a big no-no in my house. We are not the strictest in the world about table manners, but we don't walk around the house eating, at least when I am around :)

Amen zoeford. If the USDA wants to climb into bed with Monsanto, the least they can do is label these foods as such so that those of us who care have the option to avoid GMOs.
