I just finished moving into a new place this past month and discovered the best thing for packing up my house, Redi Boxes (I think there are other companies…green boxes, etc). But seriously, forget the tape and cardboard. I ordered 30 plastic, self-locking boxes. They were delivered to my old residence and the company picked them up at my new place 2 weeks later. Wish I would have read this post 2 weeks ago! I have spent the past 2 weeks painting a new place and I swear half the time has been devoted to taping and un-taping. The result...a lot of peeled edges:( I am now going back over most of my edges with an angled brush. Should have skipped the tape!!! Is This Don't Actually a Do? Skipping the Painter's Tape |
