glitchgirl, why don't you have your larger items mailed? I try not to have size stop me from buying. If the vendor doesn't mail overseas (and these days that's very common), you can always find a freight forwarder to do it for you (and I'm not talking about Fed Ex or UPS). My mom's guest room had a sunken tub. It was put in there by the previous owners of the house. My ceilings are high too and I could not find any hardware stores that rents ladders that were tall enough. Even the fold up ladders were too short. So, here's what I did. I walked to the nearest building with a scaffold and I struck a deal with the people who were working on the building. This is a great idea. I think I'm going to do this to my stairs. I just have a quick question - would it be easy to remove when I move out? I'm a renter so I wouldn't want to destroy the varnish of the wood. I'm also not a crafty person so I don't know the adhesive qualities of ModPodge. I love this paper! For our small wedding, I was hoping to use it for the menu cards and place cards which I designed myself but it was too thick that even the industrial printer in the office and in Print Icon on West 18th Street couldn't handle it. My husband says all phone lines should allow a call to 911. We don't have a landline but have a phone attached anyway to the plug on the wall in case of emergencies. I've never tried calling 911 though to test it. Does anyone know if my husband is right about being able to call 911 without a paid landline?
