somebody loves IKEA! haha... it is a beautiful place though. gave me some inspirations for me own house!

it's not near a window, but the bottom right corner of the bedroom might work...
or maybe the bottom left corner of the living room, by the window. still leaves you room for a couch facing the fireplace and maybe another chair or 2 seater between the couch and reading nook.

how does it not rain all over the books?

I love how the last picture says he lives right next to the coca-cola sign, when it says pepsi-cola right in the picture... :)

Anyway... Brilliant place. I am extremely jealous.

I like the coffee table idea. What about a simple slipcover for it when not in use?

A removable top would be a good idea, but you still see the sides, which are not exactly like a normal table. I'm sure you could find something or simply make something with a 6' x 6'piece of fabric.

i understand the need to show contrast in before and after shots, but the before shots are a complete disaster.
i would like to have seen it cleaned up a little bit before taking the "before" picture"
not that it really matters too much, but it's tough to see exactly what it looked like before under the piles of clothes and sheets everywhere.
i mean the dresser drawers aren't even closed!

anyway... very nice job on the makeover.

with a limited run of 21 vases, i doubt you will be able to get your hands on one very easily...

why do both of them have those long black scrolls with names of various cities on them? weird that these two are up against each other.

definitely a gray...

i don't think a light gray would make the wall seem top heavy if it matches to the mortar.

grab some color swatches of various shades and check it out!
