Beth - not to change the subject but would love more details about that lovely yellow chair in the first link of the post. I recently bought a blue one exactly like it on Craigslist and was astounded at how well-made it was. First owner didn't know where it was from either (had been in his family a while) and there's no indication of manufacturer.

I'd love some details on where you got yours in case it came from the same place as mine. Thanks!

Wish I could say I had the type of jewelry I'd need to keep in the bank (or would look tacky displayed) - and I'd guess this is true for most AT readers.

That said, I'm an "out of sight, out of mind" person, so I need my jewelry out where I can see it when I'm putting together an outfit.

Sick of tangled necklaces, I recently took one of those fabric and ribbon bulletin boards (the narrow ones that are about 8" by 24"), stood it on its end on my dresser and put pins in the top. I can hang earrings on the cross ribbons too...works perfectly!

LOVE IT! I live in a similar space in Lakeview (Vintage 20s midrise, 3 bedroom, 3 bath, dining room, etc.) that looks exactly like yours, right down to the tile, molding, hardwood floors and arched hallways...and one of the hardest things to do is fill the space, which you have done beautifully! Thanks for the inspiration!

Hey all -quick question. I am a huge fan of the color palette and quirky prints of the Urban Outfitters home decorating line, particularly their textiles and wall decor- rugs, bedspreads, curtains and artwork. Does anyone know where I can find similar looks at other stores at reasonable prices? Ikea comes close but does not quite have the striking prints and colors that I'm looking for. I'd love to find higher-quality rugs and 95"-108" curtains that have the same look as Urban.

Thanks for your help, much appreciated!
