Beth - not to change the subject but would love more details about that lovely yellow chair in the first link of the post. I recently bought a blue one exactly like it on Craigslist and was astounded at how well-made it was. LOVE IT! I live in a similar space in Lakeview (Vintage 20s midrise, 3 bedroom, 3 bath, dining room, etc.) that looks exactly like yours, right down to the tile, molding, hardwood floors and arched hallways...and one of the hardest things to do is fill the space, which you have done beautifully! Hey all -quick question. I am a huge fan of the color palette and quirky prints of the Urban Outfitters home decorating line, particularly their textiles and wall decor- rugs, bedspreads, curtains and artwork. Does anyone know where I can find similar looks at other stores at reasonable prices? Ikea comes close but does not quite have the striking prints and colors that I'm looking for. I'd love to find higher-quality rugs and 95"-108" curtains that have the same look as Urban. Open Thread 70 |
