I think it's gorgeous... but I hope the homeowner is aware... depending on your height, you may catch your belt loops and/or pockets in those drawer pulls. Many a pair of pants have been ruined in my house with drawer pulls like that! lol.

I bet the landlord will beg her to leave it if she ever moves out. :) Great solution for making a lovely space even better.

My husband and I took the Amtrak from Chicago to Nevada, and even though it was 6 years ago I still talk about it. It's so wonderful not to have to worry about traffic, gas, or potty breaks, and you get to take in the sights along the way. Though I do recommend paying extra for a room, since sleeping while sitting up is not for everyone. :)

DIY for me. My husband and I make handmade cards for each other every year. It's so special and I wouldn't trade it for anything. :)

I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer here, but has anyone done a cost comparison between the electricity/gas needed to do this, and the cost of a candle?

I've had this on my pinterest board for ages, yet I've never been able to find tagliatelle at any of my local stores. If you end up trying it, let me know if you like it! :)

The triptych was done by Kat Wylder (KatnipArt on Etsy).

The fish tank was given to a family member.

My husband loves the stripes... so... I guess that's all that really matters. :)

My doormat says "Honk if you've driven onto the porch." Te he! It made me giggle so I bought it. I bought another one for my dad that said "It's beer:30, you're right on time." I got both of them from this site: http://www.designerdoormats.com/
