I also think that a huge warning about bed bugs, roaches and the like should have made it onto this list... and probably it should be at #1! People should also be reminded to have an added awareness if they live in apartment buildings and condos, etc where they can jeopardize other people's homes not only their own. We just bought our house last March and have been working every weekend on serious cosmetic updates (stripping wall paper, plaster repair, etc) and improvements throughout 2012. We are at a good place with 1-2 rooms almost completely done, however, each room still has a list of things that need to be done, some that are major. What do you suggest? Should my list still be all the big messy projects that need to be done on the weekends, or more of the daily, clean-up and organize type projects?
