we have not had cable since we moved in together- a netflix subscription through the PS3 and an antenna keep us connected with the news (and will's premiere on the office last night!!!)

mdmills- There is no link, just follow the lines of the couch. Create a pattern from the the piece of furniture, one of the easiest I have ever done! :)

Pi- I didn't say it wasn't comfortable at all, just not for hours at a time. For the half hour I sit on it once a week (Thursday, for The Office!) it serves it's purpose! I think it's just something I don't put a ton of value in. I don't want to sit on a couch for hours! I get it though, I live with someone who does, which is why we decided to replace it. Oddly enough we are going to go with the Karlstad from IKEA! I do find that one to be more comfortable for a long amount of time.

I wanted to make sure to give an honest opinion of it, considering its the only affordable option on the list, and price was a huge factor in why it was purchased in the first place :) I love our little love seat! It looks much better in person too.

Also, I'm from Maine and our Craigslist is really, really bad.

We purchased the IKEA Klobo loveseat about a year and a half ago. It has served us well and was a good option for us because we didn't have the money to purchase a couch that would fall in line with our decorating style. It is time to replace it however, as you can not sit comfortably for long than an hour on it (mainly for movie watching, because really, who wants to sit some where for more than an hour anyway?) If it were just me living here, I would keep it, but alas not all decisions are mine ;) It will now be moved to the bedroom or office, if it fits!

One thing I will mention is that if you wear dark blue jeans, it will take a toll on the natural fabric. We do not eat, etc in the living room so it has stayed clean even with a cat. The simples lines lend themselves to a very easy DIY slipcover though!

i disagree with every single word in your comment.

my records are neither dirty or scratchy. converting them to digital files is a great way to take them along, but digital is no replacement for perfect pure vinyl.

Hi nicole, this happened to us when we moved out of our last apartment. In my experience it was easiest and best to patch and repaint the area :-/

I've been in process of making myself a headboard this exact way- same hardware to hang it and same button kit! The one thing that has stalled me is stapling the fabric to the pegboard. I bought a heavy duty staple gun and bigger staples, but they still won't go in.

Thoughts?

Hi kuffy! I have the duvet in the photo, I bought it at Linens'n'Things on sale about four years ago. It was a Nate Berkus duvet, I'm not sure if they have it anymore. It is really beautifully textured.
