That bath cleaning robot will be great! ...until it lunges at you at attaches itself to your face. It looks eerily similar to an Alien.

But their real-life space is awesome! It is my go-to place for antiques.

I have a similar (custom) bench in my kitchen/dining area. Here is what I would do, if I could do it all over again:

Have a carpenter build you a bench that will accommodate commonly-found floor-cushion seating, like the ones shown here:

This way, you can clean the cushions if they get dirty and swap them out when you get bored of them.

Laura, it honestly took me about a week to get used to the smaller keyboard. I don't do any word processing on it, but I do use it to instant message. I sorrrrt of think it would be not super fun to use it to write a paper.

For photo storage and internet usage, it is excellent. I prefer to use it over my other, larger (and 5x more expensive) Lenovo laptop.

I love industrial accents with a herringbone parquet floor. And white walls, and tons of light. But the colored lights are, for me, the best part. I have been dying to figure out how to do this myself with some mercury-dipped bulbs. Does anyone know how to daisy-chain surface-mount wall sockets like these?
