Thanks everyone, I ended up finding something on craigslist, more mission style and it's white dark wood. Planning on sanding it down and changing it up a bit, to make a little less heavy. It's challenging to find decent furniture without spending a fortune, so I appreciate your help!

I hear you, I could spend the next five years waiting until the house was done being fixed up before having people over for the perfect meal. But home ownership means you're never really done. This weekend while the bottom of our floor awaits it's tile before we can put our kitchen in, we had a very casual bbq. No one seemed to mind that we had to wash the dishes in the bathroom.

The kitchen is awesome, I love the spice rack thingie.

I really like the wall paper and I think the individual pieces are cool, it just doesn't seem to all flow together.
