Brass is beautiful and classic. I am glad to see AT featuring these beautiful examples of lighting fixtures. My daughter loves the vintage, brass Sputnik lamp I gave her.

"Sold" has a great concept. It is clean, lean and bold, but it does have another draw back, beside the limit of high end merchandise, you supply "Sold" directly with your financial information, which I am not keen to do. However, this hurdle could be overcome with a separate checking account just for "Sold" funds, which works for the person who is selling constantly. For the occasional seller it might be a good idea if "Sold" offered "gift cards" as an alternative to cash.

Consider painting your lower cabinets black, because of the appliances. Paint the upper cabinets a beige color to harmonize with the counters and the tile also paint the strip above them the same color as the upper cabinets to draw the eye upward. Remove the cornice over the sink.

I love plants, but the set up under the sink is not ideal for them or for humans. The plants would be light starved, and the humans would be continually stubbing their toes.

I would also like to add that the particular color of stone you have is not enhanced by white trim. If you elect to stay with it and change the grout color, you might also consider changing the white to a rich cream or ivory color found in the stone.

I agree with anyone who suggested you do NOT paint. Paint will peel. Please if you must consider doing anything, consider the suggestions for staining the stones gray or over staining the grout to be beige to harmonize with what exists. Obviously this is a one or the other suggestion.

BTW, if you paint the wrought iron supports to match the background you settle on they will visually disappear.

My top city was in Arkansas. Little Rock to be exact. Makes no sense at all.

Paint is a very good idea. Moving the washer closer to the dryer is another great idea. So is Sophie Rose's idea to use the space near the radiator to dry things. Keep it simple.

I keep a silver and a black permanent marker at hand just to label power and extension cords. Every extension cord is marked with its length and the power cords are marked with the name of the device it is meant to be paired with. Like Jackie I keep all my "electric" wire items sorted by types in zip bags in a bin.

This does not sell the product to me either. I think it looks horrible. Ironically, I have considered doing something like this, but held off, maybe it was a good thing!

As much as I loved that sweater dryer, because it was compact and worked well, it rusted! I had to toss it. ):

Beautiful, but not an option for me, because I am hard of hearing in one ear. I need separate left and right volume controls, accessibility which no longer seems to exist. :( Instead of buying new earphones, I rescued an old pair, my daughter pitched out, by sewing new ear coverings.

Be aware that too bare is not do good either. I have personally sold two houses in the past two years. Houses that were filled with 50 plus years of stuff. The temptation is great to be ruthless, do not do it, you may need some of those items for staging. Both houses sold quickly, the most recent in one day with multiple offers. The house is being emptied now and I can tell you the barren look would not have shown this house to its best advantage.

The trick is lose the clutter, purge the ugly, broken dirty, clean, clean, clean (borrow a steam machine)again, keep your pretty books for staging, store the others, buy fresh linens, organize neatly, every single cupboard, closet and drawer. Use your furniture to create flow. Bright happy pops of color lift a room, color co-ordinate your clothes. No shoes on the floors. Mirrors reflect light and add sparkle. Make your tub and sink gleam, polish the sides with car wax. Use wax paper on your faucets after you clean them, to make them twinkle. Good luck.

Borrow a steam machine to clean. Buyers do not want to buy your dirt.

Afterward, paint that cat flap white. Put down Lowe's plank flooring in oak right over that floor. It is a miracle product. Affordable, too. I was skeptical about it, but did it anyway, because the floor in the house I was selling was dreadful looking. I sold the house for full asking on the first day.

With a new floor, cleaning and serious decluttering you may not need to repaint. I didn't. I put up a matchstick blind that had light and dark tones in it, which pulled the room together. A good piece of art and a bowl of lemons can go along way, too.

Please get rid of the white on everything, especially the garage door and downspout, your house is too small to be chopped up by this color, plus it does nothing for the bricks.

I like the grey mentioned by earlier posters, it will be sophisticated and unify all the elements, it will also allow you to use a vivid eye catching accent color on the shutters and front door.

Please make sure you paint the storm the same color as the front door to unify them. The downspout is not an accent, you want it to fade into oblivion, so paint it a flat brick color. The garage door is not a feature either, make that fade as well by painting it a dark grey. You want all your focus to be on the front door.

You can use several shades of gray in the same family for all your trim. Use a darker grey where it is bright and a slightly lighter shade where it is dark. Only you will know you did this, but it will make a big difference.

The tile can stay if you paint the walls and the vanity. You will be shocked at how much better the room will look with paint. Buy towels in colors you like to audition different colors against the gray. Gray can have a blue, purple, yellow or green hue that you may not notice until you put another color near it. if you find that the gray is neutral, you may find that a spa theme of neutrals in brown, grey, white is clean and attractive.

Once you have determined the underlying hue, you can make harmonious paint decisions.

A piece of artwork on the wall above the towel bar will eradicated the public restroom look.

Btw The towel bar is not in the right place, plus it is too big for a half bath.
