I second having Catherine (alllebasii) design your space! My sister had a baby last year and she helped designed a very calm room that would grow with her daughter. I have made duck once, and it turned out beautifully thanks to the recipe I linked below. The only thing I did differently was brush the duck with orange marmalade in the middle of cooking to add sweetness. The homemade gravy I made with the drippings turned out wonderfully.
