@valleyval: All of the fabrics were purchased from Mary Jo's near Charlotte NC. I do like the idea of leather but am afraid it will be cost-prohibitive. I'd be interested in any sources for it that might be relatively inexpensive. I did come across a vinyl ostrich on ebay that intrigued me but I feel it's a bit much for a sofa and not enough fun for the chair. I hadn't considered ultrasuede, I'll have to look into that!
