oh, a towel bar is a great idea Heathah, the main victims of this are sweaters (or jeans) but the sweaters could pull or stretch awkwardly from a hook or peg. Towel bar it is!!

Two-tiered Lazy susan in the bathroom cupboard. Levels for Hair products and cleaning supplies. Nothing gets shoved to the back of a cupboard beyond my reach or eyeline any longer.

Drawer organizer trays are also a quick happy fix. Can't wait to solve my shoe problem

I hate to see a kitchen so similar to my own in a trend piece.
However I trust Mark as an individual on the front lines, and am excited to see some texture.

I too love the fresh new minimal feel after taking down decor, but it feels rushed, I still have people stopping in to "see the tree."

I'm not religious, but that's what Epiphany is good for, a nice end to the holiday times.

curtains and bed skirts and lighting.
a sheer drape or a short valance can be held up by a 3M product. A bedskirt seems to be a rare dorm item and really helps differentiate from your neighbors. both of these items can be done in the same or coordinating fabric along with a throw pillow and floor seating (pillow/bean bag) in that same fabric.

Editing down the visible possessions that are not in your color palate (stick to no more than 4) and repetition of color or shape or line, a few different lighting options and you should be good.

If you have witnessed the lone bat enter your house, just turn off the lights and open the door wide, he will find his way back out pretty quick.

We just had this conversation at work today, after both a colleague and myself lived through it last year.
