I agree with j i that some curtains or a window treatment would look wonderful in the kitchen or bathroom. It's a chance to add some color.

These chairs are ubiquitous, but reading that 1 in 3 households in SF has these chairs made me think we're all a little out of touch here! One in three design-loving neo-yuppie homes, more like.

I agree with patia that dish racks are a waste of counter space. That's why I love the folding bamboo option. When it's not in use, it folds up easily and I stash it under the sink.

No matter how tiny the plastic racks, you're always stuck with them on the countertop.

One of our cats will only take care of business in an open air box. Every time I read one of these posts I sigh with envy of those with more trainable or cooperative furry friends. Fortunately, we have a musroom to stash the box out of site. But it's definitely hideous.

I have the CB2 nesting tables and they make an awesome coffee table for a tiny living room and become instant mini TV trays which is cool. They are slightly cheaper than the full-size coffee table ($200).

Really?! I always thought these were so tacky. Like, old school arts and crafts, pre-Renegade Craft Fair.

I have the CB2 carafe and love it. It keeps dust out of bedside water and, like a small vase of flowers, makes the bedside table feel thoughtfully decorated.

I made a similar group of exquisite little terrariums, but they all developed mold growth after about three weeks. Pretty gross.
