OK. I'm going to be the only voice of craziness here. I like it. I like the color, the wood, the exposed bulbs. Would I ever pay $1300 for it? No. Would I pay $400? No , but I'm still glad someone is making sort of odd sort of ugly stuff that gives me good ideas for making my own sort of odd sort of ugly stuff...even if my odd stuff is free and comes from behind someones garage.

Agree that the high-gloss paint would be a nice touch, but I love it...poor muppet though...

love the list - my dad drinks chartreuse. According to family lore, French monks make it and guard the secret recipe. He used to give it to us as kids to make us never want to drink again.

Thoughts on sources for those stools and couch in the first picture? Both are tickling some fancy I didn't know I had.

Happy day when I found 3 le creuset - 2 used dutch ovens and one very used skillet - all of which are still working great and we use them almost daily....$1 each!! Love NYC apartment sales!

@dempsern, i always wonder that about things like this wallpaper, but also things from Ikea that look really nice and plush in pictures.... And rooms that are beautiful in a picture, what would it be like to actually walk into some of them - the white rooms especially - would it feel cold and totally unlivable? in person - the real, tactile, experience....

OK, I wouldn't have thought of it if the sculpture wasn't above the toilet, but I think the rounded shower looks like a singular 'cheek'....

DahliaCactus - I'm with you. We have a falling down detached garage - but will still need a garage here in Minneapolis - but would love more living space and prefab/modern. Any ideas/links out there for garage/living space/creative solutions?

I've had one of these for about 2 years, we like it OK, but keep it inside all year. I don't know what climate you'd have to live in to keep it outside all the time, but here in MN there's no way. They bake in any direct sun and freeze the rest of the year... Otherwise, they live in my very unfinished basement. I didn't have any trouble with them till my beer brewing hubby added a bunch of barley, and then the fruit flies and some smell started.

Overall the worm farm is just OK, I don't get as much compost as I thought I would and if you had 7 trays, that would be A LOT of worms and scraps you'd be feeding them. The worms aren't totally work free...but you can ignore them for awhile and they do survive, which is probably why I still have them!
