You can use jars with shoulders just don't fill past the shoulder.

Help! Why Do My Jars of Frozen Chicken Stock Keep Breaking? Good Questions

I also love Mason jars for the freezer, but it is important to note that the ones that have shoulders (ie, not straight up but shaped like a pasta sauce jar) will crack if you fill into that shoulder area. That is... fill just below where they start to bend and not higher.

How does the coconut oil remain as a liquid? My jar of coconut oil is a solid until it is heated. Is there some ingredient added to keep it liquidy?

These are delicious! My 1.5yo is obsessed with them. Last weekend she accidentally dumped the bag on the floor and SCREAMED like someone just chopped off her arm! Luckily we had another bag. Crisis averted!

I am definitely making this today... My hubby HATES mustard. It is the one thing he really can't stomach. Any thoughts on what to replace it with? Will omitting it change the dish dramatically?

I could've written this exact same post -- you nailed it and you are not unique! For me, it was deciding it wasn't worth my effort to make something new if she wasn't going to eat it. I started buying chicken nuggets (white meat, preferably whole grain organic!) and other things to try them before investing my time. And you're right... it does cost more to buy pouches and things, but in the end my kiddo is getting fruits and vegetables. So who cares?! (It took a LONG time to be able to say that honestly.) THANK YOU!

These definitely work and they are definitely delicious! As the writer said, though, they do take time... be patient! For me, each batch took a slightly different amount of time. It seemed to depend on the size of the potato slices and how dry they were. Drier = quicker

We just got the Kidkraft retro kitchen and it is awesome. The quality is great, it looks great and my daughter (1.5yrs) LOVES it! People complain about how long it takes to put together. My husband did it by himself and it took about 2 hours. He said it wasn't difficult; there are just a lot of little pieces.

I have a Kivik (loveseat + chaise) and love it. It isn't the fanciest couch ever, obviously, but it works for my family. I especially love the slipcovers... with a toddler and a dog, being able to toss them in the washer comes in *very* handy at times. The couch looks nice in our living room too... all around, two thumbs up from me.

This is my most favorite squash EVER. Fuss-free, as you say... and most delicious when simply roasted with S&P. The key to successful roasting is not crowding the pan (ie, no touching!). Here's my blog post about my love affair with delicata... http://www.eatniks.com/2011/11/im-having-an-affair/

As for raw milk, Fulinin, it is *extremely* high risk. It is on par with eating raw chicken. As an adult, you have the choice to take the risk... just please don't give it to infants, children, or anyone with a compromised immune system. They can die if they get sick.

Fresh Sandwich Idea: Grow Sprouts!

The thing about sprouts is that the seeds can be contaminated before you ever even plant them... and then the sprouts become contaminated. That's why they are so risky. So growing at home isn't necessarily safer. In fact, before I knew this, I picked up a pack of sprout seeds and there was a warning about E.coli on the back.
