I love the countertop! Where did you get it?

If you like Cosmos just replace the triple sec with Blue Curacoa. Its makes a beautiful deep purple drink.

Fiddleheads. Just thinking about them turns my stomach.

I liked the before (except for the wall color) and the after. Functionally they appear identical. So I'm not sure what they gained from their remodel.

I have a $300 netbook which i carry all around the house, including the kitchen. I have no need for an ipad.

I burn a candle next to me when i chop onions, which helps out. Also my issues with onion chopping and tears were pretty much gone once I learned how to chop an onion (took a knife skills course) and got myself a good sharp knife (and keep it sharp).

This would be a no go for me! $515 for a subscription appliance is unreasonable. I received a netbook for $400 this summer and its been a godsend for not only the kitchen but all around the house too.

I'm the opposite of everyone. I have a galley kitchen with counters and cupboards top and bottom around the whole thing. So I have LOTS of counterspace. I keep my cutting boards, flour & sugar canisters, knife block, utensil holder, 2 large bowls of fruit, spice rack, kitchenaid mixer, toaster, napkin holder, and coffee maker all out on my counter. Dishes are done nightly so i never (except on baking days) have too much backup there and there's even a place for the mail and the newspaper. I'm almost never want for kitchen countertop space. I don't know what I'll do when we move.

Did they put down any additional finish on the floor considering how high traffic a kitchen is?
