I collect wood boxes/cases/trunks. From a teeny tiny wood box that holds my small earrings to a large wood trunk. Some are hand carved, some are sleek and modern. Some have drawers, some have dividers. All are unique, and all are special (to me). Many of them, I picked up while traveling. Some I found in an antique store. Some were given to me. My boyfriend and I live in a small college town north of Houston. Most of the student housing is overpriced, crowded and just plain gross. Fortunately, when I moved to town, I found a 70's style town home for rent for $775 a month! For where we live, that's an amazing deal. My college friends who rented apartments were paying about $500 a month for just their room and common space. We pay $775 for 3br/2bth, a courtyard, a patio, a yard, two car garage. Awesome. PLUS, there is SO much storage! I have to laugh when I see how much my friends pay. We are super lucky to live here. I know I'm spoiled for space here, though. I love the wall color and the floors! ...but is it just me or are the counter tops two different colors? To the left of the sink is lighter than to the right of the sink?
