Andrea's Teeny Tiny Hong Kong Home House Call

Susan, I agree with Jen. When my husband and I married 30 years ago, we blended our family with 3 children and hand-me-downs from our families. With each promotion, our home expanded and our "things" expanded. Over the last 10 years we have been "letting go" of things. All my pictures are out of photo albums and in digital format (I went to Target with a stack of photos and they create a disk). I have taken pictures of treasures and memories. I let go of books after I re-read them one more time. I either borrow books from the local library or download onto my Kindle. I like to blog/journal and have written about memories that I treasure. Once it is written, I can share those memories with others or remember when I re-read. Just make sure these treasures are accessible in multiple locations. I can access them from my laptop, my husband's laptop, Kindle, smartphone, or a flash drive. Think of it this way, what if one of those hurricanes, floods, fire, etc. hit your home? Good look to a new and brighter future!
