I love Armenian cucumbers! We tried them for the first time last year. They're great producers--we had tons. The skin is very thin, so if you're a person who removes the skin from "regular" cukes, this would be a winner for you. A Roundup of Cucumbers | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

We've had Paperstone for 3 years. I really love them. I rest a heavy pot of boiling noodles for a few seconds while I adjust my grip before draining, and have seen no adverse affects. I put hot dishes from the microwave straight on the counter--no problems. More on Paper Countertops | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

I usually get weird looks when I mention this, but I love oatmeal with butter and soy sauce mixed in. People tend to think of oatmeal with sweet accompaniments, but it works. One of my favorite snacks is leftover rice with butter and soy sauce, and I figure that oats aren't that different from rice. One day I tried it with oatmeal, and I loved it. I don't know of any tutorials, but I made a few duvet covers by sewing two flat sheets together on three sides. For the bottom, I put button holes across both open edges, and tied with fabric ties (you could use ribbon). Grommets and ribbon would work, too, with less sewing. Snaps are easy peasy...just hand sew them on. You can do it!! :) Duvet vs. Comforter for a Toddler? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |
