Wow, I love it. It's serene and minimal without being OVER-the-top minimal.

OK, but let's talk about the amazing purple painting with an actual paintbrush stuck to it. I love that!

I could look at white box entries all day every day and twice on Sunday. I could look at riotous color entries too, although for those I might take a break every third day or so.

Love this place! The International Entries this year seriously kick all the asses and take names!

I'd ask what building you live in, but, you know, TMI. Regardless, it's fantastic!!

Love it. Love the stair storage, the kitchen backsplash, and the super stream-lined powder room!

Question: the red fireplace doesn't look vented. Can you actually use it as a fireplace?

I'm not sure I can adequately express in words how much I love the purple fireplace wall and the yellow wallpaper with the quilt/blanket in the bedroom.

Bravo for such personality!

Wow... so tiny and yet you have so much wonderful stuff in there and it doesn't seem like you'd be tripping over everything all the time. I love the turquoise pop from the kitchen, and all your lovely artwork.

And bed-in-a-drawer may be kind of a pain, but it sure is cute.

I'd love to know more about the bedroom headboard wall. (I'm sure something like that has been featured on AT before, but I glossed over it, I guess.)

Also, go Seattle!!!!!

I, too, would like a Craigslist with the junk magically weeded out (and no one else able to browse it).

Seriously, you've made a wonderful home.

I'd love to see a house tour, if only to see if you have some "before" photographs so we can really appreciate how much work was done here!

Many veterinarians' offices these days, when your cat or dog is about to be euthanized, will do a paw print in clay for you. It's kind of a "thing".

First, I love your list, but I have to say one thing, as someone born and raised in Seattle: Hills are great to look at, and have a view from, but they do make it a *little* more difficult to walk places if you are not in the most fantastic of shape. I wish Seattle was more walkable than it is, simply because of topography. There are lots of little neighborhoods/spots where you can walk in and around easily, but if you actually want to get from some point A to some point B for a specific reason, walking becomes much less feasible. Even if it's only, say, 2 miles, which is not that unwalkable, there's probably at least two big hills inbetween here and there.

Also, @bkdesignfreak, I loved your comment.

80, and I'm almost surprised I did so well, even though I thought I knew a lot about architecture. You didn't make 'em gimmies!

I just wanted to say that I also really enjoy the High/Low articles, even if "the low is still too high!" or whatever.

I just like seeing how you can take inspiration from one source, and if the elements are not available to you, either because they cost too much, or because they're just not available, find a way to build something similar.
