This looks delicious... I intend to make this but I'll add hot italian sausage removed from the casing.

I don't know about leaks and whatnot... but I can tell you that 3 minutes is too long to cook your iPhone.

Sorry to hear about your cat. I, too, had this same problem not 2 weeks ago.

I often use meat baby foods as the basis for dog treats (cookies). Quite odoriferous. Google up a recipe if you have a dog.

I recently had my first few red bananas. I must say that I agree with you.. they are delicious. I really had a hard time describing the flavor. I used the word mango... but I don't know. I just know I like em.

The rule of thumb is not to preheat the oven if the bake time is longer than the preheat time. The logic is that the food put into a cold oven will heat in tandem with the oven preheating.

There are exceptions: there are times when you'd want the heat from the a preheated oven to "set" the proteins (e.g. souffles) or to quickly brown skin of chicken or such.

But, otherwise, if you have a longer cook time than preheat time you won't have any problems.

The buckling can cause problems with overfilled pies and such, as noted above... but the bigger issue for me is that it scares me to death. It's loud and rattles the entire oven rack it sits on.

I use cardamom and cinnamon when I make granola.

I truly think cardamom is addictive.

Thanks for the info... one last question. Are the lids, by chance, attracted to the magnets?

great project. I've been saving the back of a pantry door for something just like this.

I assume from the price listed that the neodymium magnets used were the 1/4" X 1/16" discs? I'd hate to go too thick if I don't have to.

Also, I'm just wondering if you had a discussion on labeling the bottoms as well. Depending on the viewing angle, I might just label the bottoms.

Oh great. I've never had a problem with my silicone cups sticking. But now that I've read that it's a problem... I'm convinced I'll have nothing but problems from now on.

I've tried freezing leftover wine in an ice cube tray but when I transfer it to a separate container it always eventually melts into a big liquid mess. Maybe I should add water to reduce the alcohol content or lower the freezer temp.
