Wow people are harsh! Congrats on winning. I think I also imagined myself living in the space. Who would want to live in a busy home, not me? It is how to use color and live with it not just shock people with a crazy pattern. I loved all the entries though and people are really creative!

I am pretty sure the lot alone cost close to $1 Mill. Not to mention the house. I know the real estate in this area and often people buy an older house on a lot and tear it down to build an eco-friendly house. Kind of silly to me.

I would also be interested in the cost. and I live in the area and am always leary of how well solar energy would work here? Is it really worth the cost of putting it in? I would work great in the summer but I would guess they are going to mainly rely on the wind power? Beautiful house though.

If you don't want to do actual bottles go for these amazing photos. I have been looking at this artist for awhile trying to decide which ones to get!

I am from the NW and this is very consistent with our design and relaxed/structured lifestyle. I love the wood too! It would be awesome if we had a blogger from Bellevue!!!

I love it becasue it looks like someone actually works there. Sometimes you see amazing offices but they look like they are never used or they would not be functional. This looks pretty "normal".

There is a pattern in the Amy Butler sewing book " In Stiches" that adds a band of fabric and loop to towels. They are super cute and look pretty easy to make!

Have you ever looked at Fog & Thistle? She does papercutting and uses shadow boxes to frame. Her work is a little more 3D but it would still give you the look of the artwork coming off of the background that you want. She also does alot of backing with color which looks amazing in my opinion, it really makes the white pop. Her artwork is a little more kid oriented but she has some good ideas. Here is a link to her Etsy store. http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=10495681
