i'm guilty. not all the time but i definitely like to be surrounded by pretty things in my kitchen.

i always keep my pitas in the fridge and have never seen a speck of mold on them. i pop them in the oven for just a couple minutes to warm them up before i use them

my cat loves tv. she can usually be found completely blocking my ability to use the remote. my sister's cat on the other hand doesn't even seem to be able to see the tv or at least she really, really doesn't care about it.

messy because it's looks so much more inviting

i inherited my grandparents' fine china

i don't allow my cat on counters or tables but she's free to enjoy on couches, beds, and chairs. i don't allow myself to sit on counters or tables either.

my microwave/stove/oven unit was original to the house when it was built in the 70s. the clock and the self cleaning feature on the oven don't work anymore but it still cooks food just fine.

I've got two copies of that Better Homes & Gardens Cookbook. One that I bought new when I moved out on my own and one that I later inherited from my grandparents. Some of the recipes are the same but some are different.

if your's lasted 3 years before it wouldn't hold a charge it did better than mine. i got about 1.5 years before i had less than 10 minutes of battery life (if i unplugged it i immediately got a warning to plug it back in)
