We've already made several of the recipes from this book, including the gruyere batons (amazing) and meatloaf. While the meatloaf is excellent, its the recipe for garlic sauce that makes the dish. I think we will be putting it on everything over the next several months.

also be careful with high-end commercial refrigerators such as sub-zero which often have 2 compressors (as opposed to typically one). you are automatically doubling your energy usage.

our playground in the early nineties had a metal slide that got hot as h*ll on a sunny day, a wood and metal jungle gym that you could get serious splinters on, a metal geodesic dome, and a tire wall that bees liked to colonize. guess what? no one ever got hurt - and it was a lot of fun. Now - its all plastic and rubber chips. nothing to fall off of, nothing to get hurt on. wheres the fun in that?

the basket is convenient, but any cheese counter will custom cut a piece for you - no matter how small.

ah, yes it would meet electrical codes in the US and no, its not dangerous. if you actually looked at the photo before transposing your prejudices, you would have noticed that the outlet is in fact GFI. how many of you have outlets above a bathroom vanity? quite a few i would guess.
