Maybe someone can finally assure and advise me on this -
I have a couple "crashed" computers that may have sensitive confidential information on the hard drives. I have been saving them since I cannot access the drives - remember, they crashed. How can I be sure recyclers will NOT try to access information that may still be resident on the hard drives of my old computers/devices since I am not that techically savvy?

I bought a tub of NON-hydrogenated vegetable shortening at Sprouts (both regular and butter flavor) and it turned out just like Crisco (but better since I knew it was healthier). I don't remember the brand, but it was on a display with the holiday baking items.

Those three bags appear to be bag of flour! (to me anyway)

Check your with your city. I was able to get a great deal on a large compost bin for almost half the price because I purchased it through my city.

Also, I found a great airtight sealed stainless container at Williams-Sonoma OUTLET for a great price (about $10 - so check the outlets often!). I keep it at my sink to "store" my small compostable garbage and empty into the bin once a week - no smell whatsoever (except when opened) and looks great. Really does the trick.

One might consider that the dirty politically incorrect word, "outsourcing," but to me it is just great business sense, and knowing IKEA, they'll be able to keep their prices down and still give great product at great prices!

When I was in school, we had home economics with cooking first semester and then sewing class second semester. Now it would have been a great idea to have us make a cross-stitch of this graphic in sewing class, and then we would have remembered it for cooking! No such luck. I flunked both classes, although in the years following I learned how to sew and bake.

Was it just me because I live in "earthquake" county (Los Angeles)? I apologize, but I just couldn't enjoy this place because initially I got freaked out when I saw the Kitchenaid standing mixer right at the ledge on the upper floor - one small jolt, and that thing might topple and be toast. I have one and know they're heavy, but still. . .

Now that I have this wonderful receip - I think I'm going with the Germany tradition this year (they have such a wonderful tradition of inviting people over to celebrate). My birthday is in the summer too (end of August), and now that my home is renovated and beautiful, I will be having people over! I will start a new tradition for my 57th birthday!

These are just plain good common sense furniture items for even the not-so-tiny homes!

I ordered my book and I'm ready to go - - need to toss a lot of junk from my bedroom. Maybe this will help. I'm a child of a hoarder so I makes it a bit difficult - - my only consolation is that my room doesn't even look close to those on the TV show. YIKES!
