Glass pitchers always look so fragile to me. It seems like their handles would snap right off if they so much as tapped the side of my sink. And ones that are nice and sturdy are usually super-heavy (not the greatest when you have to fill it full of water, which is already really heavy). Can You Help Me Find a Good-Looking Water Pitcher? The fact that the lid doesn't sit flush would make me return it. Many recipes that call for the use of a Dutch oven do so on the assumption that you will be making a covered dish with a lid that fits properly. With this one, it looks like liquid would evaporate very quickly and you could end up with a lot of dry recipes! Should I Keep My Cheap Berndes Dutch Oven?
