I've run into the same problem in the past and have found that a mild slope can be overcome by placing my chair directly onto the carpet - it doesn't slide around as much or at all. This might not fix the problem for an extreme slope... Quick Fix for a Sloping Floor? Good Questions |

Things that automatically take an apartment out of the running for me are an electric stove, low ceilings, lack of outdoor space, and dog unfriendly. One more thing to add to a post are the dimensions of the object your selling. It drives me nuts when I have to e-mail a seller asking how big their bookshelf/table/chair/lamp is.
