Tile-tattoos are such an amazing idea! I thought its a nice way to dress up our place without spending too much.
Also if you have an old cabinet mirror above the sink you can take out the old mirror and go to a glass shop. They can remake the old piece for you and it makes the bathroom look much better with a new glass mirror.

My husband and I just moved into our place and we are trying to save some money for the wedding but also decorate our new home too. I love the wood veneer butterflies! Would look great in the porch room with the light coming through. Thanks for posting and hope to see more projects under $50.

Thank you for posting this! I adore Del's Frozen Lemonade. Now my hubby will be happy he can make it himself :0)

Your home is adorable and I love the fireplace. I'm seeing less and less fireplaces these day. I would want to do with something very light actually. You don't want the walls to compete with the fireplace. Nothern Air (blue) or cedar key (tan) from pottery barn paints would look amazing.

I love the Fabric Markers. I always silk screen any fabric but I never thought of using these markers. Thanks for the tip. And yes sometimes simple is more :)
