A good cleaning is always refreshing and renews the love I have for my place. I have a studio apartment so I can't do major re-arranging but I do switch and move a side chair and bookcase from sleeping side to living side. Sometimes the small and inexpensive changes can make all the difference. I change my sheets and duvet or change out the color of the bath towels. I don't have the budget for a major bathroom makeover so I bought some new hardware on clearance. And I can't say enough about a new paint job. Hands down the most effective way to make a major change at a minor cost.

I also have the Greg sofa that I've had for 5 years now. It is used every day and I have had no problems. I also have the Alfa ottomans that I've had for about 8 years and again they look as if brand new. Zanotta is a quality manufacturer and well worth the price. I highly recommend it. You won't regret it.

I love having my little cuddle bug sleeping with me. Although for such a small dog he sure takes up more than half the bed. He also kicks me in his sleep. I'm a side sleeper and so is he so I sometimes wake up with all fours on my back. He also likes to bury himself under the covers but boy does he stink when he comes out. Of course I had to give up my crisp white sheets, but its worth it for the morning snuggle.

I would to with the Folio chair from Crate and Barrel. It has the same parsons style lines yet is fully covered in stitched leather.

I second the criss cross. The fixure you have now is too small and overwhelmed by everything else going on.

I happen to love the non-slip hangers available at Bed Bath and Beyond. They come 50 to a box for $39.99 and if you happen to have a coupon for them or a competitor that's even better. They have a very slim profile so for those of us with limited closet space they allow for more hanging space.
