@Moria Rose / Sarah*d / Mollymc181 - I bought some similar lights at amazon and love them, I have them strung up in my kitchen and they're fantastic (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0097YM4JU/ref=oh_details_o07_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

Restoration Hardware also has some, in amber and white:

If any of you are in Southern California, I saw some at Orchard Supply Hardware (not available on their website) in both plug-in and battery operated varieties.

Hope this helps!

jng2b, my bedding is from Rough Linen and I haven't had a problem yet with the bottom sheet coming undone, even with two people and two cats in the bed. I make the (queen-sized) bed my myself weekly and it doesn't take very long at all - it gets faster with practice. In fact, it stays tighter than a fitted sheet because all that extra fabric is really tucked in there.

Hope this helps.

This may be a bit inconvenient and perhaps out-of-budget (I received mine as a birthday present), but I use this as a bottom sheet:
http://roughlinen.com/smooth_white_sheets.html

It takes a bit longer to make the bed the "old-fashioned" way, with the tucking & all, but it stays in place and I love the feel of the fabric.

If the linen elastic-less sheet is too pricey, perhaps getting a king flat sheet and trying that out?

I ordered a set of towels from this Etsy shop recently:
https://www.etsy.com/transaction/88084757

Not terribly cheap, but good quality. It took over a month to receive them, no fault of the seller - the package was held up in U.S. Customs for several weeks.

A friend has ordered from this eBay retailer and has been happy with their purchase:

I have never been moved to comment on a house tour before, but this place is ... I just don't have the right words to express how fantastic this apartment is. The pics give off such a happy and adventurous vibe, I love everything about it. Bravo, Mark!

Here's a free pattern for a knit chevron blanket that's Missoni-inspired, but much nicer than the Target offerings (in my opinion).

That looks like one of the Raymond Hill late-forties four-plexes. I'm about to move up there myself and will definitely be borrowing some inspiration from this apartment.
