Addition to above comment: it actually isn't the shortness of the spout, but the angle which causes the splashing. Eva Zeisel Teakettle |

Maxwell--Might you consider trying a Craftmatic or similar adjustable bed? They look ugly and I'm a bit embarrassed to ask. My aesthetic is minimalist but as my husband & I get older, utility (a higher profile making it easier to get in and out) and functionality (the ability to raise & lower) begin to edge out looks. I would love to hear your opinion, or that of any AT community member. Thanks. A Year in Bed: A Modest Proposal |

For anyone certain that their landlord withholds deposits as customary business practice: A class action suit was brought by Cornell law students (with a sleazy landlord) as a law school project and they won! The slumlord was forced to put a huge amount in escrow for ALL prior tenants (the injured class), and was monitored local authorities in future. Just an idea to bring to a local law school. Lovely project and she looks content. I have a non-project question: Does anyone in the AT community know the name of the designer of that blond coffee table in the middle of the stack--the ones that were lovely but too expensive. Many thanks. Look! Making a Desk for Lulu | Apartment Therapy New York |

I love the idea of a dish drying cabinet over the sink and am putting one in my new kitchen, but it was HARD to find a supplier in the US. Here are two Canadian companies (with US distribution) that manufacture the stainless steel racks--the innards--used in dish drying cabinets.
