white. it will make the black cabinets look sharp and brighten everything up. put some white and black pattern tiles behind the sink. cover the chairs with a white and black pattern. an Ikea black and white chevron rug. white and black curtains. lots of plants around the sliding doors and greenery or some red tulips in a pot on the island. nice crisp fresh and clean looking.

if you really know what plywood looks like you wouldnt say it looks like plywood. it looks like a wood door, and the design is quite artistic, i thought it was a throw at first just laying on the wood. its much nicer than plywood and certainly gave the room some warmth and depth. good job.

@Street Style Fashion... where do you get that from? no one said they "discovered" Brooklyn. they said they are used to riding subways and now they are "bus riding pioneers". i had to read it again after i saw your comment. a young couple right out of college enjoying fixing up their first apartment, and you had to find something mean to say. wow. incredible.

its a lovely apartment. i think its best not to have the curtains touch the floor when you have pets as they will pick up hair and dust. i wouldn't change a thing. great job.
