Is anyone else tired of seeing these "bike holders"? Your clean white wall would last two days before you saw tire marks on them.

I work at a custom rug manufacture and can tell you that it takes a looooooong time for that to stop. But you will never fully get rid of the shedding. Part of owning any shag rug is dealing with the shedding. I have a rug that isn't shag and after two years, stills shed.

Make sure you don't have the beater bar running on your vacuum and invest in a shag rake.

Thanks for the comments so far. I think I need to reword my problem. The tile was NOT installed two years ago....we just bought the house two years ago. I was just stating that the tile was already here when we bought it.

Ripping everything out is out of the question. I would like to know if there are any suggestions to help fix the problem areas. I'm not really looking for a permanent solution, but something that will keep the pieces from coming off every time we walk on it.

$189....I could hire someone to stand there and hold my papers and pencils for that much.

When I lived in NY for college I had no kitchen but I had a coffee maker. Besides providing coffee, a coffee maker gives you hot water that gets poured into a glass bowl. The instant meal options are endless. I loved making ramen noodles, mashed potatoes, oatmeal, tea, soup....so many things that you can do with just a bowl and hot water.

Is putting Tyvek up an easy thing to do? Do you just staple it to the outer wall? Do you need to tape the edges around windows and corners before going over it with you outer layer (vinyl siding,etc) Just curious.

I'm sure the chalk is then sanitized after every use!
Or you can do as I do and carry chalk with you at all times for such an occasion.
