Corn pudding has always been a staple at my family's Thanksgiving dinner. For the past 9 years, I've been making it for my company's holiday luncheon and everyone loves it so much that I'm never allowed to bring anything besides it! Make This Tonight! Corn Pudding |

I keep the white flowers pinched off, but my basil plant just doesn't seem to be thriving this year. Maybe I should whack off the top half and that'll stimulate it to grow.... Flowers on Your Basil Plants? Pinch Them Off! |

I traveled to China for the first time last year, where I spent 2 weeks traveling to different regions with 2 Chinese colleagues. Some of the interesting eating habits I found were slurping, spitting fish bones directly on to your plate, and belching aloud as a sign of enjoyment. Since I was the only American dining with multiple Chinese at every meal, it didn't take long to get used to these traditions! Slurping Ramen: Unexpected Table Manners Around the World |

I discovered these a few months ago when a friend came to my house for a potluck. She had run out of time to make anything of her own, so she stopped at TJ's and bought a couple of jars. Product Review: Trader Joe's Giant White Beans |

I was completely appalled by Jen's behavior and the disrepectful tone she had with the judges. I was a fan of hers during her season, and really thought she would go all the way to the final 2 or 3 this time, but eek, she was crazed last night! Top Chef All-Stars: Night at the Museum |

I have 6 binders that contain all of my clippings, and the recipes are protected by plastic sleeves. They're organized similarly to melkozak's, with some sort of organization within as well, but no tabs. That might be my next step in the project that has been years in the making... I love mine and have even suggested them to several friends, so I was surprised to see that others have had problems. I always spray them with a bit of olive oil, and I actually have never made cupcakes in them, but I have made muffins and loads and loads of egg muffins. Not only have I had any issues with sticking or crumbling, I also find them very easy to clean. Mine are from Williams Sonoma. FAIL! Silicone Baking Liners | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

My house was built in the early '40s and every room except the kitchen has the original, beautiful hardwood floors. Unfortunately the kitchen has ugly dark red vinyl. But I am happy to say that my new cork flooring will be installed early next week! I'm so excited!! I can't wait to spend a day in the kitchen cooking without waking up to an aching lower back the next morning! Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Survey: What Kind of Kitchen Floors Do You Have? |
