I will drive about 2 hours, maybe a little more or less, but always with my husband along. He won't let me go alone which complicates things since our work schedules conflict but helps since he'll take things apart with or for me. More than half of our things are from the Twin Cities area craigslist so we make it work. How Far Would You Travel For A Craigslist Find? |

An immersion blender was one of the first things I bought on my small budget when I began to cook on a regular basis and use I it for soups, salsa, whipped cream and for beans...probably a few more things too. I'm a fan of dry Riesling for my Thanksgiving (and beyond) but my family prefers more of a dessert wine so a local winery's blackberry under $15 will make them happy this year. Thanksgiving Wines: What's On Your Table This Year? |

My grandma always rolled and cut them out too which is also how I choose to make my dumplings. She didn't use Bisquick though but a simple flour, water, milk, butter and baking powder mix. Oh, the delicious memories! Recipe: Chicken and Dumplings |
