Though I love using vinegar for cleaning, the best urine neutralizer has been Nature's Miracle. I like that it itself does not have a fancy fragrance, but smells neutral.
Good food, but also good treats. So many awful treats out there. My dog doesn't need sugar, salt and food coloring in his diet.

Beautiful kitchen! I do find it odd that he didn't have even one bit of advice to give, though clearly it looks like you didn't even need any.

How sad. Even on a home design blog you can't escape hearing about her.
Just mind numbing.

Beautiful pairing, and since I won't be the one cleaning it, I can enjoy it even more.
The way the cut out is though, I find odd. Visually I'd find it more pleasing if the marble were laid out in a rectangle instead of L shaped.

The only thing I'll take seriously is if my friend were to say something about my place not being clean.
The other once in a while " add a pop of color" comments, are so infrequent and clearly not coming from a malicious place, that I let them slide.

really like the magnetic idea one. Room for imagination and it's not permanent.
The others look nice in the photos, but reality is that the true result would be much more messy, especially with very young kids.

I prefer to just invite people without mentioning that it's a house warming. Also every time someone says " no gifts please" it makes me feel like I need to get one even if I initially thought it wasn't necessary. Best to say nothing.

It may be a bit of a cost up front, but I'd invest in having a larger door put in, if possible. Then you could really have the sofa in the size that you want.
Otherwise the IKEA and CB2 carry some smaller couches.

Like: wall paper, carpet in the bedroom and drooling over console and mirror.

Not a fan of the white couch. Seems to have no texture or color and just too boring.

Also from reading it's often said that bathroom lighting is best when the lights are on the sides of the mirror. Would have expected that instead of one above it.

$4K for one that is larger size than standard. It was painful, but having a well functioning door makes me almost forget the amount it cost.

Lovely transformation. Only thing that would bother me is the location of the tub's faucet. It would force me to lie and look towards the wall, where I'd prefer to face in the direction of the door.

West Elm rugs always look great on their website, but once I get into the store, it's a total disappointment.
As for Urban Outfitter, that company steals too many arist's designs, plus has sold me a poor constructed table, that I refuse to purchase anything else from them.
It would be nice if these posts had a bit more research behind them. As is seen by the comments, rugsUSA does not appear to be a great company either.

I'm pretty sure the houses are being staged before the sale, and a lot of personal items are being removed. Look at any celebrity home that is on sale and they all look like show rooms. Not because the people live without personalities, but because they probably don't want people to see all their personal things.

Wish it had more photos. The backyard is incredible for NYC digs.

yes, when I am at someone's home with the fancy toilet paper, I just end up using as many squares as I do at home ( which is actually not a lot of them), and the rolls do seem to run out faster.

Yes on all except the toilet paper. I'm completely fine with the thin, one ply type. It's more than good enough.

Like the idea, but the execution just isn't quite there. They looks like they are just floating on top. Mostly the size seems off though, thinking that bigger would have worked a bit better.
