I'd been considering unsubscribing from Whole Living for a while. The last interesting article I read was about hallucinogenic mushrooms, and that was just a couple of months ago, but otherwise it had made for some pretty boring reading. I also got annoyed with the skincare articles because they usually pushed products with irritating ingredients. Fine with me if they want to push content into the regular Living magazine; perhaps with less content to deliver the quality will improve. Downsizing at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia |

Love the greens in the first and last photos. Re: the first photo, they really made the most of that narrow little room. I'd love to curl up in there with a book. Paint Color Portfolio: Green Living Rooms |

SO cute, though I agree about the blue frame--it looks too much like painter's tape. Otherwise, it's such a cheerful room and I'd love to spend days there. Randi's "Summer Modern" Study Room for Color Contest |

Sheesh! Add me to the list of people who feel busy_at_home was unnecessarily attacked. I'm not interested in children at all, but something tells me I'd rather hang out with busy AND her kids than with some of you touchier folks. What Do You Need to Live Like a Grown-Up? |

I really tried not to be snobby. If Crystal were a friend of mine and proudly showed me her kitchen, I'd smile widely and tell her how cute it looked. However, since she posed her question in a public forum I felt a bit more ballsy. Things that are fake that SHOULD be alive (e.g. plants, fruits and veggies) are just kind of depressing, to be honest. She could do a lot better with that space--or nothing at all, and it would still be better than fake canned goods. Where Can I Find Fake, Decorative Canned Goods? Good Questions |
