Very lovely but...what's with the tiny television in the upper corner of the living room? I think there are better ways to incorporate a television into a beautiful interior.

It's both whimsical and warm at the same time. You've done a great job!

It does look like a dance club! The kind where I would inevitably find the puddle of water, slip, and break something within the first five minutes.

It also resembles the space ship from 2001 and we all know how that turned out...

Maybe it just doesn't translate in the photo but I don't think the color works. Mustard rarely works. Silver is my color of choice but then that misses out on the bold paint color theme. If I could wave a magic wand, I would get an off-white slip-cover for the couch, pull the carpet and replace it with a multi-colored rug, and introduce some red to the room. No mustard!

I do love the color choice of the kitchen though.

This is a sign that the household has far too much clutter! I would put away almost all of the photos and then display a small portion of them on a rotating basis. In my opinion, their ideal placement is a side table or bookshelf.

I just gotta say that I am often amazed at the way people crowd musical instruments into a home and then camouflage them in this way. Either someone owns a piano in order to play it or they wish to admire it for purely aesthetic reasons. In any case, they should clear off the junk so that they could admire the piece and then call a piano tuner so that someone, probably a guest can play it every so often. These instruments are more than furniture.

Love it! Too bad they knocked it down. Did they need room for another golf course? It reminds me of Woody Allen's suburban landscape in the 1973 film "Sleeper." I'm not sure about how dangerous the totally artificial house is to your health, but in his version of the future, cigarettes were good for you.

Good for your Barbara! I hope that it lives up to those lovely memories of the past. But with that great attitude and style, I'm sure that it won't be a problem.
