We use the Expedit and Trofast from IKEA, I actually like Trofast better although the expedit looks 'prettier'. Nice ideas, I think it's important not to loose the art of hand-written letters/notes/etc. Our sons are too little to write, but sometimes we use their drawings as thank-you cards and then write for them how they would like to say thanks.
