Holy smokes! This is the most artful and sentimental hoarder home I have ever seen! While its a bit too much for me, she does seem to have a flair for organizing unique collections.

Holy Smokes! Totally not my style, but it works for him. Do not envy the packing process for him, though! Or the work its going to take once he leaves to get back to normal.

Having had a baby during Feb., I wished I had a wiper warmer. I remember my son freezing up every time I wiped him. Funny thing is I didn't even think about it until it was way after the fact and at someone else's baby shower.

I always tell ladies to buy your breast pump (regardless if you are going to breast feed or not) in ADVANCE. I learned the hard way not having one and trying to get some place to deliver while I was in pain and engorged @ home by myself!

The way I see it, you have a choice to be on Clean House or any show like it. Everyone by now knows what to expect if you sign up to participate. If these people had a handle on their issues (messy, OCD, hoarding, etc. ), they wouldn't need to be on a show. So, for those who lose good furniture or nice stuff in the process- so what! They weren't enjoying it anyway in the mess and I get entertained in the process!

I love Clean House! I even went to clean house yard sale in the summer when I was in LA. I think it has the best elements of typical style/home/redo shows and came up with the great show -even with the corny jokes. As for the design, I think Mark does his best with the budget and dealing with average joes who probably would not appreciate a higher level of style.

When I couldn't sell my rolling shelving, I had no choice but to make it work in the bedroom. While it took me a couple of weeks to sleep with my head right next to the shelves, I'm glad I made the choice to use it. I moved my mattress a few inches away in case something falls, but nothing so far has fallen. Its been a great space saver and it forces me to keep it tidy since I have to have it over my head every night.

Does anyone have any info on the picture that has the orange/ yellow/red circles in it? I would love to try to find something similar.

If you could live without the shelf on the bed, they have a wood platform bed just like this @ Gothic Cabinet & Furniture. My son had it and it was great.

I really like and appreciate the comments that have come in so far. My son changed his mind (typical!) and we bought a basic bed frame from IKEA, but the room ideas are great. I feel I can do them, stay within my budget, and appeal to the both of us. I am also considering wall decals (there was a recent post on apartment therapy). Thanks for all the tips!
