I have worked for Bed Bath and Beyond for 4 years now. I am in management. It is a great place to shop for high end items that you will get cheaper versions of at big box stores. It is not such a fantastic place to work. I can tell you that where they used to be customer service based, they are now sales driven. They expect all of the store employees to be good salesman.If they do not meet their quota, the associates are verbally abused. There bad attitude toward their workers reflects onto their customer satisfaction. I have also noticed a severe lack of African American employees.
