I agree with Polly. We have a turntable with over 100 albums on vinyl, both modern and 'vintage', that we play most evenings after work and on the weekends. Rockin' 45 Lamps by Gin Art & Design |

These are all great "afters" with the exception of the bathroom, IMO. I much prefer the "before" bathroom (minus the icky carpet) over the yawn-inducing "after" bath. At least the "before" bathroom had personality! Rambling Renovators' House of Before & Afters |

Srsly, get a sense of humor. I'm sure you've got plenty of stuff that your boyfriend isn't wild about, but it's called compromise. I think it's AWESOME and I would give that a prime spot in my home. Ya know why? Because I don't take life, or myself, for that matter, too seriously. I say you should embrace it and really make it something wonderful. Everyone, especially your boyfriend, will love it, and if they don't, then de-friend them because they suck. Integrate Hulk Hogan into Shared Apartment Decor? Good Questions |

DAFUQ???? How could you even THINK of painting this drop-dead gorgeous piece?? ESP since it's a family heirloom, that would be so SO wrong! I have 12 original paintings gracing my walls at this point. This does not include 9 (so far) enlarged & matted/ framed prints of my own photographs. We're very frugal, so the most we've personally spent on any one painting was $200 (another painting we own cost more but was a gift). We do not buy artwork to show off or to try to impress anyone, and certainly not as an investment. We buy it because we love it and we adore hanging originals on our walls. We have met some of the artists. With a few, we've supported local student artists. Most came from our vacations in Pensacola over the past 3 summers (all of those but 1 being local to that region). Each has a specific pleasant memory attached to it. All of that is far more important than how much money our lovely little collection is worth. No room for snobbery here, as our walls are filling up fast, but we'll definitely make room for that next great piece. ;) Do You Buy Original Artwork? |

I only clean when my house is about to be classified as a biohazard or guests are coming over, whichever comes first. I HATE cleaning and I'm lazy. Plus, if I called them "chores," I'd have to kick my own ass. lol What is Your First/Last Chore of the Day? |
