i can settle this debate once and for all. i live in norway which speaks norwegian which is extremely similar to swedish and danish. all 3 languages having the same phonetic sounds. it is pronounced...

"I" is "ee"
"E" is "eh"
"A" is "ahh"

it´s only in america that i have heard it pronounced as
eye-KEY-ah
