Agree with Mary - Try swapping the dinette and the living room. If you have a rectangular table, when not dining, shove the table against the wall of bedroom 3 (traps one seat) to free up the entryway.

I've painted my kitchen gray this week - three walls done, finishing it up this weekend. The room had sunshine yellow walls competing against a 90's teal countertop and white/teal ceramic tile floor. The gray already tones everything down a notch and complements more accent colors.

Especially with gray, buy sample sizes before you commit to gallons. I sampled the Behr Dolphin Fin but it turned out too dark for the space. Behr Silver Drop was warm and inviting, with enough contrast against the white doors, floor, trim and cabinets.

Carter wavy sectional from the 1980s. Got on Craigslist in 2006 for free in near pristine condition, just some sun damage (clearly had been sitting in a formal living room). I owned it for one year, downsized to a tiny apartment, and it had to go...

I once lived on Dover St in Worcester MA, and again on Dover St in Somerville MA. From that point forward, I went looking for a Dover St wherever I moved, but I haven't lived on one since.

I know someone whose last apartment had this exact same fireplace down to the tile color. It was painted white by the building owners. Not only was it a truly awful, gloppy paint job (especially around the tiny crevices), but it made the fireplace blend into the wall. I'm very glad to hear you are planning to keep it as is, since I've seen what happens if it is updated.

The prefix 'i' gained popularity from Apple's iMac and related third-party accessories, when it was first launched in 1998. (has it really been 11 years?)

My workplace switched me from the Aeron to the Freedom task chair. Personally, I really miss my old chair. The Freedom has odd lumps that took me months to get used to, offers no adjustments except height, and you cannot lock the back (prevent the chair from reclining). Lastly the fabric does not breathe, so I sweat on humid days.

Every once in a while I am presented the opportunity to sit in an Aeron on different worksites, and each time I recall how I love that chair.

After a few years of dealing with a common hall and doors that didn't always lock, one of the things I specifically looked for when moving was my own exterior entrance.

The entire office is nothing short of a fire hazard, with the enclosed electronics. If a fire did happen, all of the oil paintings in the staircase (presumably, the safest exit from the upper floor) would burn quickly and brightly.

I would be too paranoid to even set foot in that home, let alone live in it.
