I don't understand why people are upset. WHERE does the author of this post say that these are images of actual dorm rooms? Tried to comment but got an error, so I'm trying again. Apologies if I end up double-posting. I have had luck defrosting butter. Do those of you who find this excessive think dinner parties and get-togethers in general are excessive, too? Or is it this particular theme? People throw parties all the time (Super Bowl parties, Oscar parties, St. Patrick's Day parties, no occasion partie), so why not have one to announce the sex of the baby? While some of you may not care to be invited to such a party, their friends obviously were happy to celebrate with them. And isn't sharing ideas like this inherently what OhDeeDoh is about? I don't know if this is what you meant by bath chair (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MPMDJ4), but we have something like this that we found at a yard sale that our allows our daughter to sit up completely and splash in the water. She loves it. Our current place does not have a hand-held shower head, but I imagine one could be convenient to use with one of these. We just fill the tub with a bit of water and fill a small basin with clean rinse water to pour over her afterward. These chairs are also small enough to put away when not in use. Stickyricemama, I think she meant [light], [sounds], and [smells from cooking]. And SaraHez, NOW you've heard of someone who has to worry about smells, so that saves you the conundrum of how not to be judgmental the next time. ;) Every kid and every situation really is different. I have to say that I am appalled that someone would suggest giving this to a dog OR a homeless person if it is unsuitable for you to eat.
