This was the first contestant type reality show that I've watched. I enjoyed the series but was dissappointed in the outcome, big time. Amy is a good cook but was my least favorite from the get go. She was boring and snooty. Michael, Jag and Paul were my favorites. When Jag was eliminated I didn't care a whole lot about the outcome.

Jag was immature but would have, in the long run, been the best choice. He's a good cook with a lot of personality. The food is the most important thing on a food network show. But if the "star" is a bore or unattractive or a jerk, I don't care how great a cook they are. I won't tune in. Amy's show won't last long.

I cast my vote for Rory simply because Amy was such a snob. But when I saw what a poor loser Rory was, I didn't feel bad for her.

Alton Brown did turn out to be a conceited jerk. I'll never watch his show again. Giada seemed a bit snooty as well.
