When you say products, does that many anything including cars, food, clothes, etc? Or just furniture?

The coolest thing would have to be a stuffed Thanksgiving cornucopia with fruits and vegetables.

I crocheted pillow covers, a patch work afghan, pot holders, pennants for every holiday, placemats, a sweater, crocheted overtop of rocks for interesting shapes, crocheted covers for various shapes of glass, a costume for my cat, a basket to hold craft supplies.

I'm currently working on a chair/poof for the family room

Mint is so easy to grow. I have a pot of cat nip, not even really close to a window. I've kept cilantro pretty long too (it bolts outside in the summer, and lasts way longer indoors).

As for tips- use fertilizer! It makes such a big difference. You can get these little pellets that you put in there once and you're good to go- fuller, darker and more dense plants.

Also, don't over water you could end up with little flies living in the dirt of your pots.

Pinch off dying/dead/weak parts of your plants so they can put their energy into growing the healthy parts. Also pinch off flowers/flower buds, these will change the flavor of the herbs.

I drank soy for a very long time because I couldn't drink regular milk and rice milk is incredibly gross. A family friend was recently diagnosed with cancer and her doctor told her that she shouldn't drink regular milk or soy milk because it creates a mucus in the intestines that the cancer can grow in. He told her to switch to almond milk. Having heard that I thought I'd try it out, and I think it's way better than soy milk. It has a lighter flavor, less plant-y, it also smells good.

that sounds like it would be good on fresh strawberries, or as a glaze on a pastry

i would only do that in my garage, and not to decorate.

they'd scratch up the walls, they stick way too far out, people would knock the stuff off of them all the time

i have super sensitive skin, and always get really bad razor burn & ingrown hair. the best shaving combination i have found is a thick layer of liquid soap, and splash my legs with rubbing alochol. most people can't take the sting, so you can dilute it half and half. it works wonders- no redness or bumps.

also for those without sensitive legs- my sister's friend shaves her legs outside of the bathroom by coating them in lotion, and swishing her razor in a cup of water occassionally. saves a lot of water and her legs are silky smooth

we have a tiny, half height HVAC closet that we did this with. we installed a similar kitty door, and he's able to go in and out while keeping it hidden from view

we adopted a munchkin cat for this very reason- i did not want him jumping all over the counters and table. i know when i go to friend's houses with cats, they don't care about the cat fur in the food and drink. but when they aren't your pet, that's just gross. no guest, no matter how much they love animals, is going to be 100% ok with eating animal fur.

prevention seems to be the best way- regular grooming, keep them out of the kitchen, prewash pots, not letting him join us while we eat

I water in the morning because watering with not a lot of heat left in the day causes damp conditions which leads to fungus and mildew problems. When you get water on the leaves it ends up just sitting there over night, and we had fungus wipe out our entire pumpkin patch.

powdered rooting hormone put on the cut/end of the stem will greatly speed up the process, so that the roots form before the stem rots. you'll also get stronger and more vigorous roots.

i use these $2 packets and i put the powder on all of my cut flowers, whether i want them to root or not. it helps plants in water live a lot longer
